Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 4+ years of experience for a night shift position in a hospital Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• On-call availability required
• Weekend work required
• Holiday coverage required for at least 50% of holidays during the contract
• Rotating shifts may be required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 4 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specific specialty (Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics) required
• Active MO or Compact license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• Routine exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is expected in this role
• The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
