Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring CV scrub and circulate experience, with on-call and weekend availability in a New Jersey hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Cases include cardiovascular, vascular, cardiac, thoracic, GYN, general surgery, and some robotics
• Staggered 10-hour shifts with regular hours of 6:30a–5:00p and 9:00a–7:30p, alternated throughout the schedule
• On-call and weekend availability required — same expectations apply to both staff and travelers
• Call requirement includes two 48-hour weekends and 14 weekday shifts per 6-week cycle; weeknight call runs M–F 7p–7a, and weekend call runs Saturday 7a through Monday 7a
• Float requirement: travelers float first from the Mainland campus to the City campus as needed
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Charting is done in Cerner PowerChart; experience is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or valid Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience required
• Demonstrated experience scrubbing and circulating, including vascular and hybrid cases
• CV (cardiovascular) experience is required
• Cerner PowerChart charting experience required
