Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a CA RN license, Epic proficiency, and at least 2 years of critical care or PACU experience in an acute care setting.

• Post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (10:00–20:30 or 10:30–21:00)
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in a critical care or PACU setting of similar size and complexity
• Minimum 2 years of experience with airway management
• Experience with central lines and post-procedure care as obtained in a critical care or PACU environment
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the nursing process addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological patient needs
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
