Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment in California, requiring a CA RN license, 2 years of recent OR experience, and on-call availability including weekends and holidays.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a community hospital setting
• Surgical specialties include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), and Plastic Surgery
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (6:45–17:15 or 8:30–19:00)
• On-call is required: overnight weekdays, 24-hour weekend call, and 24-hour holiday call
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in a community hospital or Trauma Level II facility
• Minimum 2 years of circulating experience in a community hospital setting
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), and Plastic Surgery
• Conscious sedation experience required
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates may be considered under a separate rate

• Circulating responsibilities across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the assignment
• Two supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications are required for consideration
