Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU Float position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and flexibility to float and work an alternating weekend schedule.

Details

• PCU Float position with primary support to Med Surg
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 84 hours biweekly on an alternating 36/48-hour schedule or straight 48-hour schedule
• Weekend work required, which may include most weekends during the contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules are not available
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Floating is a core requirement of this position

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Med Surg and/or PCU clinical experience required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid all substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and during the assignment
