Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 10-week travel contract in Maine, requiring an active ME or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting in a community hospital
- 12-hour day shifts, either 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 9:00 AM–9:00 PM
- 10-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in the State of Maine or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
- Ability to function independently and respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and patient- and family-centered care in the Emergency Department
- Must communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team to develop patient care plans
- Required to maintain a high degree of patient confidentiality
