Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 3 years of critical care experience, including labor and delivery, for a night shift position.

Details

• Night shift hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Rotating weekend schedule
• No block scheduling — shifts are assigned based on departmental need
• Voluntary call availability at times, though not mandatory

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of critical care experience required
• Labor and delivery experience required, including NRP application and neonatal stabilization
• Proficiency in setting up BCPAP interfaces and assisting with intubations
• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required if applicable — candidates with any prior license hit will not be considered
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC), NRP (AHA or ARC)
• 2 supervisor references required — one from the past year and one from within the past two years
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a critical care setting with an emphasis on neonatal and labor and delivery support
• Responsibilities include BCPAP setup and assisting clinical staff with intubations
• Candidates must have worked in the submitted specialty within the last 3 months
• Candidates requesting more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
