Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel assignment at a rural community acute care hospital in New Mexico, with nights schedule and occasional charge nurse responsibilities.

• Rural community acute care hospital setting
• Covers adult Med/Surg, pediatric Med/Surg, and PCU patient populations
• Pediatric admissions are possible
• Typical patient ratio of 5:1 with Avel tele-intensivist support available
• Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Additional Information

• Occasional charge nurse duties are required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is not required but is considered a helpful asset
