Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position in Iowa, requiring orthopedic surgical experience and a minimum of 2 years in the OR setting.

Details

Work setting is a hospital operating room serving multiple surgical specialties
Surgical specialties include general, orthopedic, ophthalmology, urology, ENT, and endoscopy
Schedule consists of four 9-hour day shifts Monday through Friday
Rotating call required one night per week and every 5th or 6th weekend
36 hours per week

Requirements

Active IA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical nursing experience required
Orthopedic surgical experience is required
RN circulator experience across multiple specialties preferred
DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Circulate across a variety of surgical specialties in a busy OR environment
Must be team-oriented and able to thrive in a high-volume surgical department
13-week contract
