Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Interventional Radiology position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring ACLS/BLS certification and sedation experience, with on-call responsibilities.
Details
- Acute care setting in a Neuro Interventional Radiology unit at a Level I Trauma Center
- Day shift schedule: 7:00am–5:30pm, four 10-hour shifts per week
- On-call required approximately 10–14 days per month
- EMR: Epic
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NE or Compact (NLC) RN license required — pending licenses not accepted
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required — pending certifications not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Sedation experience required
- BSN not required
- A driver's license is required for consideration and will be used to verify permanent address
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years — both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; permanent address is verified via driver's license
- Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year — candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
- An open-book, pass/fail skills exam is administered on the first Friday of orientation; a score of 90% or higher is required to pass — failure to pass may result to termination of contract
- Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas — refusal to remove them may result in contract termination
- Orientation is 12 hours
