Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with at least 15 months of X-ray experience and ARRT certification for a hospital or clinic-based radiology position in Iowa.

Details

• Hospital or clinic-based radiology setting
• Uses Epic EMR
• Philips equipment experience is highly preferred
• Carestream portables experience is preferred
• GE OEC C-arm equipment experience is required
• Siemens Cysto equipment experience is highly preferred
• Fluoroscopy experience is preferred
• Operating room competency or experience is preferred
• Travelers are required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day)

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 months of X-ray experience in a clinic or hospital setting (24 months required for first-time travelers)
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Iowa state radiology license (IDPH State Permit) highly preferred; non-licensed candidates will be considered but must apply for licensure upon acceptance — license required if applicable
• GE OEC C-arm equipment experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Supervisory reference or performance evaluation from within the past 2 years preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have at least 24 months of X-ray experience
• Candidates who have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
• A 50-mile radius rule applies to local candidates
• Candidates must have an Iowa state license or have applied for one; non-licensed candidates will be considered with proof of application at acceptance
