Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics (IMC) position requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience, AHA certifications, and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Orthopedics (Intermediate Care) unit of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call availability may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Charts using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Orthopedics or IMC nursing experience required
• Required certifications (all must be AHA and valid through assignment start): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• TNCC preferred
• ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care including ongoing health data collection and monitoring of therapy and treatment plans
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Two professional references are required for consideration
