Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position at a teaching hospital, requiring ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM certifications with Epic EMR experience.
Details
- High-risk OB unit in a teaching hospital setting with a high-volume delivery service (200–300 births per month)
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- On-call required as needed
- Floating required to the Mother/Baby unit
- Weekend shifts required as needed
- Epic EMR is used; experience is required
- Hospital-provided scrubs
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
- Experience in a teaching hospital required
- Experience in a high-volume delivery environment (200–300 births per month) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
