Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position at a regional academic medical center in Huntington, WV, requiring a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience and night shift availability.
Details
- ICU setting within a 303-bed regional academic medical center serving patients from 29+ counties across West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, and southern Ohio
- 13-week contract
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Cerner EMR experience highly preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license in WV or a compact state currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Position is based at a major academic medical center, one of the ten largest general hospitals in West Virginia
- Travel experience is preferred but not required
