Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring strong neuro skills and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Neuro ICU unit within a 356-bed non-profit, research and academic medical center in St. Louis, MO
- Tertiary care setting serving the east Missouri region, affiliated with a major university school of medicine
- Schedule options of 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required to ICU, TCU/PCU, and all hospital care areas within scope, including the ED for admitted ICU and TCU/PCU holds
- Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
- On-site parking garage available at no cost
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Strong neuro skills required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Academic medical center environment affiliated with a university school of medicine
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
