Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Trauma ICU unit within a 356-bed non-profit, research and academic medical center providing tertiary care for the east Missouri region
- Floating required to all hospital areas for ICU and TCU care, including ED holds
- Schedule options available: 3x12 or 4x12 hours
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Free garage parking available on campus
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, offering an academic and research-oriented environment
- Navy scrubs required
- Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application; additional requests after signing are at the manager's discretion
- Blocked scheduling may be considered, including a weekend block or a 6-on/8-off schedule
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
