Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Trauma ICU unit within a 356-bed non-profit, research and academic medical center providing tertiary care for the east Missouri region
• Floating required to all hospital areas for ICU and TCU care, including ED holds
• Schedule options available: 3x12 or 4x12 hours
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Free garage parking available on campus
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, offering an academic and research-oriented environment
• Navy scrubs required
• Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application; additional requests after signing are at the manager's discretion
• Blocked scheduling may be considered, including a weekend block or a 6-on/8-off schedule
