Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Endoscopy position requiring 18 months of permanent GI/Endoscopy experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

Work in the Endoscopy unit of a hospital setting
Day shift schedule (5x8 hours), approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some variation possible
No weekend shifts required unless called in
On-call responsibilities include 1-2 weekday call shifts per week after regular shift until 7:00 AM
On-call responsibilities include 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6 weeks, covering 24-hour periods on Saturday and Sunday
Must respond to call within one hour
Potential call coverage required on Labor Day

Requirements

Active Ohio RN license or compact state RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 18 months permanent Endoscopy experience required

Additional Information

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to achieve a passing score
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
