Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Prep position at an ambulatory surgery center, requiring strong PACU experience and dysrhythmia management skills.

Details

• Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting within a large health system
• Knoll North Surgery Center – Prep/PACU unit providing pre- and post-procedural care for adult patients
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts with varying start times: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Epic (OpTime module) used for charting
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required
• Strong PACU experience required
• Dysrhythmia management skills required
• Strong IV skills required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One reference required for consideration
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) preferred
• ICU background preferred
• ASC and/or GI experience preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• 1–2 prior travel assignments preferred
• Critical care certification, trauma course completion, or IV access certification a plus

• Provides pre- and post-procedural nursing care to adult surgical patients
