Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for an outpatient imaging position in Wichita, KS, requiring RT(MR)(ARRT) or ARMRIT certification and a minimum of 2 years of recent experience.
Details
- Outpatient imaging unit at an acute care hospital in Wichita, KS
- Performs outpatient MRI exams
- One MRI tech per shift, with an MRI tech aide available when possible
- GE MRI equipment
- Meditech EMR (prior experience preferred)
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- RT(MR)(ARRT) or ARMRIT certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Active Kansas state license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy is preferred
- Organized candidates who can maintain an efficient exam schedule are an ideal fit for this role
