Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience (2 preferred) for a 13-week assignment performing a full range of cardiac, electrophysiology, and neuro interventional procedures.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting performing both cardiac and neuro interventional procedures
• Cardiac procedures include LHC diagnostic/intervention, RHC, pericardiocentesis, CardioMEMS, Impella and IABP insertion, TAVR, MitraClip, PFO closure, AICD and PPM placement, EPS, ablation, and LAAC
• Neuro procedures include cerebral and carotid angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy
• Charting in Epic
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• On-call and every third weekend required
• Must be available to cover 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and RCIS required
• Active NJ or Compact license required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• All RTO and schedule requests should be noted upfront
