Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract in Peoria, IL, requiring a minimum of one year of nursing experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Position is in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU/ACU) setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
- Weekend shifts on a rotation basis
- Holiday shifts on a rotation basis
- May be required to float to other facilities within the Carle Health system
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temp license accepted)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum one (1) year of ICU or relevant nursing experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include completing patient admissions assessments, developing and modifying individualized plans of care, implementing nursing interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Actively participates in safety reporting, peer feedback, and ongoing professional development
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at any Carle Health location for more than one year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning
