Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Neuro Unit Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in an Acute Neuro Unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes those recovering from neurosurgery, neurology, ENT surgery, and general surgery — ranging from ambulatory patients requiring assessment to bedridden patients requiring total care
• 12-hour night shifts (1900–0730), Monday through Sunday
• 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Acute Neuro experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Permanent address must match Driver's License and RN license on file

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken a minimum 2-year break from the facility
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
• A panel or phone interview may be conducted as part of the hiring process
