Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 5 years of experience and ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI-RCS certification for a 13-week cardiology assignment in Ohio.

Details

  • Work in a dedicated cardiac echo unit performing both inpatient and outpatient exams with varying degrees of acuity
  • Exams performed both portably and with patients brought to the inpatient unit
  • Schedule is either 4x10-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
  • Occasional Saturday rotation approximately 2–3 times per 13-week contract, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
  • Ultrasound equipment includes Philips, GE, and Siemens platforms

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer experience
  • Active BLS required; ACLS preferred
  • Active ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI-RCS certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • Former facility employees are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility
  • RTO must be requested upfront and built into the contract, with a maximum of 7 days
  • All candidates are required to complete an Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after accepting the position; detailed instructions will be provided by the credentialing team
  • Multiple parking permit options are available for purchase near the facility, ranging from budget shuttle-based options to guaranteed garage access
