Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Main OR position in Jacksonville, FL, requiring orthopedic and trauma orthopedic experience along with TNCC certification.
Details
- Located in a 453-bed acute care hospital in Jacksonville, FL
- Assignment in the Main OR department
- 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, scheduled as three 12-hour or four 10-hour shifts per week
- 1:1 patient ratio in the OR
- Procedures include arthroscopies, total joints, and orthopedic trauma cases
- Orthopedic equipment utilized
- Charting via Meditech EMR
- On-call required: 6 call shifts per 4-week schedule
- Weekend on-call required
- No floating required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of start)
- TNCC or TCAR certification required — no grace period
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
- Orthopedic OR experience required
- Trauma orthopedic experience required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSN accepted
- Two professional references required (Florida position)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

- Hospital scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
