Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience for a 13-week travel assignment in the Palm Springs area serving a geriatric patient population.
Details
- Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population in the Palm Springs territory
- Caseload of approximately 5–7 patients per day
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
- No on-call or weekend requirements
- Coverage area spans a 50-mile radius from the hub/office
- Documents visits using HCHB (experience required)
- OASIS experience required
- Mileage between patient homes is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health PT experience required
- Active CA PT license required; pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Proficiency with HCHB EMR required
- OASIS experience required
- Must have prior travel experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
Additional Information
- Local candidates are welcome to apply and will be considered at the travel rate
- All time off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
