Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position requiring Level IV NICU experience and the ability to float across all children's units.

Details

• Level IV NICU within a Level I Trauma hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Floating required across all children's units
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications from AHA required: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of NICU nursing experience required
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Level I Trauma hospital experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Advanced NRP is preferred
• Compliance requirements (drug screening, background check, medical documentation) must be initiated immediately upon acceptance of an offer
• Workers who have previously completed an assignment at this facility may extend one time for a maximum of 26 total weeks; a 6-month separation period is required before being eligible to apply again
• Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
