Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 1+ year of experience for an acute care hospital pediatric setting in New Orleans, LA, requiring Epic proficiency and an active Louisiana OT license.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a children's hospital
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Louisiana OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for patient evaluation and administration of treatment procedures as prescribed by the attending physician
- Expected to contribute to departmental advancement through quality improvement initiatives and inservice presentations
- Participation in student education may be required
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Up to 5 days of RTO allowed for the duration of the contract
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Any candidate who has worked as a permanent employee at any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for consideration
- Work history gaps of more than 30 days must be disclosed and explained
