Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a day shift position at a critical access hospital using Epic EMR.
Details
- Work in a critical access, non-trauma hospital with 25 total staffed beds
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Block scheduling required
- Patient ratio of 1:3
- Travelers may be asked to float to a sister facility in Chewelah, WA
- Charting via Epic EMR (required)
- No on-call required
- No parking fee
Requirements
- Active RRT credential required
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- WA state RRT license required (must be in hand at time of consideration)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- All required certifications must be current and provided for consideration
Additional Information
- This is a teaching hospital
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
