Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment at a critical access hospital, with Epic EMR experience required and first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Work in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at a 25-bed critical access hospital (no trauma designation)
- Teaching hospital environment
- Patient ratio of 1:3
- Travelers may be asked to float to a sister facility within the state
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Block scheduling required
- On-call is not required
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- No parking fees at the facility
Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- WA state RT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- RTO should be minimal; all requested time off must be addressed prior to submission as post-offer requests may be denied
- Housing resources are available in the Colville and Chewelah areas ranging from approximately $1,100–$1,500/month, including furnished options geared toward hospital workers
