Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment at a critical access hospital, with Epic EMR experience required and first-time travelers welcome.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at a 25-bed critical access hospital (no trauma designation)
• Teaching hospital environment
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Travelers may be asked to float to a sister facility within the state
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling required
• On-call is not required
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• No parking fees at the facility

Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• WA state RT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• RTO should be minimal; all requested time off must be addressed prior to submission as post-offer requests may be denied
• Housing resources are available in the Colville and Chewelah areas ranging from approximately $1,100–$1,500/month, including furnished options geared toward hospital workers
