Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a pediatric hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of MRI experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting in a dedicated MRI unit
- Rotating day shifts of 4x10 hours, with shift start times rotating between 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, and 8:30 AM–7:00 PM Monday–Friday with rotating days off (Wed–Fri)
- Call is required and rotates weekly among staff; call week runs Wednesday through Wednesday (ending at 6:30 AM), with 12-hour shifts on Wednesdays and Fridays and 8-hour shifts on Thursdays (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and Saturdays (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
- Weekend work is required on a rotating basis
- Epic EMR — experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
- Current BLS required
- ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Louisiana state license required if applicable
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be documented and explained
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
