Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel contract in an inpatient/outpatient echo lab serving a neonate-to-geriatric patient population.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient echo lab serving a neonate through geriatric patient population
• Daily caseload of approximately 10 studies
• Uses Philips Epiq ultrasound machines and Merge PACS
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Rotating weekends approximately every 4th weekend, with some flexibility
• On-call required on a rotating basis, covering 7:30 AM to 7:00 AM on rotating days and some weekends
• No floating within or to sister facilities required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer
• Active ARDMS and ARDMS RDCS PE certifications required
• Current BLS required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• State license required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; proof of address required for consideration

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Pending state license applications reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• RTO is limited to 7 total days for the duration of the 13-week assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront
• Local candidates are not accepted; a 75-mile radius rule applies
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
