Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel contract in an outpatient/inpatient Physical Therapy setting in Maine.
Details
- Physical Therapy unit setting
- Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience required
- Compact or Maine (ME) PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Full SSN required for consideration
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- 2 references within the past year required for consideration, with at least one from a supervisor, manager, director, or charge — peer references are not accepted
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
- Flu vaccination required for clearance to start
- Candidate must have a permanent address 100+ miles south/southwest of Bangor, ME (489 State St, Bangor, ME 04401)
- Candidate must not have previously worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity
Additional Information
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
- Medical exemptions only are accepted for flu vaccination requirements and are subject to client approval — a minimum of 2 weeks must be allowed for review
- Work history should include hospital name, location, number of beds, trauma level, teaching hospital status, and EMR/computer charting information where applicable
- Travelers living 100+ miles north of Bangor, ME may be considered on a case-by-case basis with individual approval
