Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel contract in an outpatient/inpatient Physical Therapy setting in Maine.

• Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience required
• Compact or Maine (ME) PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Full SSN required for consideration
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 references within the past year required for consideration, with at least one from a supervisor, manager, director, or charge — peer references are not accepted
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Flu vaccination required for clearance to start
• Candidate must have a permanent address 100+ miles south/southwest of Bangor, ME (489 State St, Bangor, ME 04401)
• Candidate must not have previously worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity

Additional Information

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Medical exemptions only are accepted for flu vaccination requirements and are subject to client approval — a minimum of 2 weeks must be allowed for review
• Work history should include hospital name, location, number of beds, trauma level, teaching hospital status, and EMR/computer charting information where applicable
• Travelers living 100+ miles north of Bangor, ME may be considered on a case-by-case basis with individual approval
