Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Danbury, CT, requiring a minimum of 3 years of cath/EP lab experience and proficiency in circulating across cath, EP, and neuro cases.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting in Danbury, CT
• Three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with variable start times of 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM
• On-call requirement includes one weekday night (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and every fourth weekend (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM), plus some holidays
• Cases include Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology (EP), and Neuro procedures
• Kronos used for timekeeping

Requirements

• Active CT RN license (Standard or Compact) required; a screenshot or photo of a completed license application is acceptable
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience required
• Proficiency in circulating for Cath, EP, and Neuro cases required
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the past year in the same specialty
• CCRN, CI, CV, or RCIS certifications preferred
• Neuro procedural experience preferred (Mechanical Thrombectomy, Coiling, Pipeline, Embolization)
• Proficiency in monitoring and scrubbing for Cath, EP, and Neuro cases preferred

• Candidates who have previously worked at any facility within this health system may be subject to an eligibility review process before consideration
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be considered at a reduced rate
• Online orientation modules must be completed prior to assignment start
• AHA-issued certifications are the only accepted format for BLS and ACLS — no other providers accepted
• If any licenses or certifications are expiring during the assignment period, renewal receipts or scheduled course dates should be provided
