Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification for an acute care hospital setting, working evening shifts in the Main MRI unit.
Details
- Acute care hospital Main MRI unit
- Experience with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems is required; a Siemens 1.5T system will also be in use
- Epic EMR is used in this position
- Evening shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with 8-hour shifts
- On-call rotation runs Monday to Monday, approximately once per month; on-call hours are M–F 11:00 PM–7:00 AM and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–7:00 AM the following day
- On weekends, if there is a call-in during the scheduled 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shift, the on-call tech is required to cover that shift
- Call-back is rare, averaging 2–4 times total per month
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
- Active BLS certification required (pending not accepted)
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required (pending not accepted)
- Texas state license is not required for this position; license required if applicable
- Proficiency with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI equipment
- A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Daily parking is available at $15+/day, with monthly parking pass options ranging from $95–$120 for on- and off-campus garages and lots
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or affiliated facility (including CHI and Dignity Health) within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
