Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience, with recent Neuro and Thoracic experience required, for a 13-week night shift contract in Atlanta, GA.

Details

• Hospital-based main surgical unit open 24/7
• High-volume OR environment handling between 28–55 cases per day
• Service lines include Orthopedics, Neurology, Urology, General Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery
• Facility utilizes 3 Da Vinci XI robotic systems for general, urology, and thoracic service lines
• EMR: Cerner
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 3 shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification (must not be expired)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
• Recent Neuro and Thoracic OR experience required
• Cerner experience required
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff who have transitioned to travel nursing must have a 2-year break from the facility before being eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is accepted
• References are not required for initial consideration but will be needed during the credentialing process
