Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist at a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center, requiring at least 1 year of IR experience and ARRT(R) certification.

• Large short-term acute care hospital with 1,567 staffed beds, operating as a Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center
• Interventional Radiology unit with bi-campus coverage across two campuses
• 13-week contract with a day-shift schedule
• Schedule includes two 12-hour shifts (7:30 AM–8:00 PM) and two 8-hour shifts (either 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 11:30 AM–8:00 PM) per week
• No weekends or holidays required; call shifts are available to pick up voluntarily
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
• ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required
• Trauma center experience at a large facility required
• Pending license accepted; must be active prior to start date — license required if applicable
• One professional reference required
• Must be willing and able to provide bi-campus coverage
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• RTO exceeding 7 days requires facility approval
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
• Misty Green OR scrubs are provided by the facility
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
