Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for an evening shift contract at a Level I Trauma Center academic medical center, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and Siemens MRI system proficiency.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with over 1,500 staffed beds
• Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center setting
• MRI department/unit
• Evening shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 14:30–23:00 (5x8-hour shifts)
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience
• Siemens MRI system experience required
• Trauma center experience at a large facility required
• ARRT (MRI) certification and current BLS required
• State license required if applicable
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates who are former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered
• RTO up to 7 days can be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval
• Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions considered
• Teal scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
