Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in New York, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, with day/evening shifts and every-other-weekend rotation.

Details

  • Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
  • Day/evening shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • 36 hours per week on a 13-week contract
  • Every other weekend (EOW) required per department rotation
  • Every other holiday (EOH) required per department rotation
  • No on-call requirements
  • EMR: Epic

Requirements

  • Active NY RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of ED experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association); ENPC is acceptable in lieu of PALS
  • TNCC preferred
  • Must reside 75+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
  • COVID vaccination card required for consideration
  • References and license verification (via Nursys) required for consideration
  • Local candidates are not eligible for this position; candidates must be located 75+ miles from the facility
