Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in New York, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, with day/evening shifts and every-other-weekend rotation.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
- Day/evening shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week on a 13-week contract
- Every other weekend (EOW) required per department rotation
- Every other holiday (EOH) required per department rotation
- No on-call requirements
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of ED experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association); ENPC is acceptable in lieu of PALS
- TNCC preferred
- Must reside 75+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
- References and license verification (via Nursys) required for consideration
- Local candidates are not eligible for this position; candidates must be located 75+ miles from the facility
