Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist in California with a minimum of 2 years of mammography experience and active California licensure in X-ray and Mammography.

Details

• Outpatient mammography setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional Friday shifts for PTO coverage
• No call and no weekends required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography, with recent experience in the specialty within the last 3 months
• Current California Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) license in X-ray and Mammography (CRT(M)) required — license required if applicable
• Certificate of Completion of Initial Mammography Training (40 hours) required
• Certificate of New Modality Training for Digital/3D Mammography required
• Documentation of initial 25 supervised mammograms required
• CEUs for the last 3 years required
• Continuing experience documentation of 200 mammograms performed in the last 24 months required
• AHA or ARC BLS required
• ARRT-R (Radiography) required
• Mammographic Radiologic Technology (MRT) certification required
• Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA
• Two supervisor references required — one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• Candidates must not have a prior hit on their license

• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days — candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
