Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN with orthopedic, OB/Gyn, and general surgery experience for a travel contract requiring a KS or compact RN license and on-call availability.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts per week with variable start times
• OR setting with circulator responsibilities covering orthopedics, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery cases
• Scrub experience is not required for this role
• May float to procedural areas including pain management and interventional radiology
• On-call requirement of 8 shifts per month, including some weekends (Friday 5pm–Monday 7am)
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis
• Epic EMR experience is highly preferred

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of OR circulator experience with orthopedics, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery
• 2+ years of OR experience preferred
• New graduates will not be considered for this position
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Virtual orientation is held every Monday
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
• This is a nicotine-free facility
• Local candidates are accepted; however, local candidates placed in this position may be expected to convert to a permanent role
