Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Pittsfield, MA, requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg and telemetry experience with an active MA RN license in hand.

Details

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Inpatient Med/Surg unit with 20–34 beds depending on unit
• Typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Floating to any Med/Surg unit is required
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred
• Block scheduling is not available for this assignment

Requirements

• Active MA RN license must be in hand prior to consideration
• Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be in hand — facility will not pend certifications
• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Willingness to float to any Med/Surg unit required
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required
• Med/Surg skills checklist current within 1 year required

Additional Information

• Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application — no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and requests made after an offer is extended may result in a rescinded offer
• Non-billable orientation of 8 hours
