Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) position at a short-term acute care hospital, with first-time travelers welcome and Epic EMR experience required.
Details
- Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) unit at a 108-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Occasional floating to the Acute Care unit based on IRF census
- Floating between all facilities within the state may be required
- No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OT license required; license pending candidates will be considered
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- IRF or inpatient rehabilitation setting experience
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable; scrubs are not provided for this role
- No parking fees at this facility
- Minimal RTO is preferred; time-off requests should be addressed prior to submission as post-offer requests may be denied
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
