Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down Unit position at a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center in St. Joseph, MO, requiring a MO or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Step-Down Unit in a 352-bed acute care hospital
- Level II Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center
- Sole tertiary hospital between Kansas City and Omaha, serving a broad regional patient population
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Free on-site parking available
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or compact RN license required; pending license acceptable but must be in hand prior to start
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BSN preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be eligible at a reduced rate
- Hospital is part of a network of more than 60 hospital and area clinics offering urgent, primary, specialty, and emergency care
