Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma teaching hospital, with Epic EMR experience required and first-time travelers welcome.

Details

  • Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma, 209-bed teaching facility
  • MRI unit with no floating between units within the facility
  • Patient ratio of 1 patient per hour
  • 4x10-hour evening shifts, 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Schedule is 7 on / 7 off with every other weekend required
  • No on-call required
  • Charting via Epic (required)
  • No parking fee

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
  • Active ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent licensure required — license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification
  • Epic EMR proficiency required
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
  • Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • RTO is expected to be minimal; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
  • Scrubs are provided in sterile units (OR, ICU, ER, COVID); all other staff may wear any color scrubs
