Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) setting in California, requiring a valid CA OT license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Outpatient setting within a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Home assessments and patient home visits required as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Valid California OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid driver's license and personal auto insurance required
Additional Information
- Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs focused on restoring daily living skills, homemaking, vocational skills, and general independence for patients with disabilities or developmental delays
- Provide clinical supervision of OT assistants and aides, and serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Former employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
