Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position in Billings, MT, requiring a Montana or Compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of PACU experience.

Details

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a regional hospital setting
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week, 4 days per week
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active MT or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the start of the assignment
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in the post-anesthesia setting
• Performs health teaching, counseling, patient referrals, and reviews therapy and treatment plans
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• 13-week contract
