Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in an acute care respiratory therapy unit.

Details

• Acute care hospital respiratory therapy unit
• Primarily adult patient population, with some pediatric patients
• Uses Servo-I ventilators and performs ABG draws and analysis
• MEDITECH EMR — familiarity preferred
• Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• CRT or RRT credential via NBRC required (RRT preferred)
• BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include mechanical ventilation management, ABG sampling and interpretation, and general respiratory care for adult and some pediatric patients
• Pediatric and labor and delivery assignments may be available depending on candidate experience
• MEDITECH and Servo-I ventilator experience would reduce orientation time
