Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week travel contract at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 325 staffed beds
- X-Ray department serving inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients
- Procedures include general and portable X-rays, fluoroscopy, and OR cases utilizing C-arms; O-arm experience is preferred but not required
- Experience with neonatal, infant, and pediatric populations is preferred
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with weekend availability required
- Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state
- Epic EMR is used and experience is required
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience
- Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Must be available to work weekends
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; RTO requests made after submission may be denied
- Block scheduling can be accommodated
- Pending licensure is accepted
