Description
American Traveler is seeking a Chemo Certified Oncology Infusion RN for a travel contract at a Magnet, teaching hospital requiring at least 2 years of oncology experience and active ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification.
Details
- Oncology Infusion unit within a short-term acute care, Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma teaching hospital with 672 staffed beds
- Position requires floating between three affiliate hospital campuses to meet facility needs
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Day shift schedule: 5x8s, 8:00–16:30
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
- Block scheduling can be accommodated
- Charting is done in Epic/Excellian; experience is required
Requirements
- Active MN RN license required; pending license accepted
- Current BLS certification required
- Active chemotherapy certification through ONS or ONCC required
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
- Epic/Excellian EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
- All certifications must be current and on file for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides oncology infusion nursing care across multiple affiliated hospital campuses
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start date
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent staff or per diem must have been separated for at least 3 months since their last shift
- RTO requests of no more than 5 days are preferred
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
