Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of direct, consecutive pediatric cath lab experience for a 13-week assignment at a Level I Pediatric Trauma, Level II Trauma acute care hospital.

Details

  • Short-term acute care hospital setting with 615 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma center
  • Cath Lab unit serving primarily adult patients with pediatric cases as well
  • Daily caseload of 7–20 cases per technologist
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • On-call required on an as-needed basis
  • No weekend requirement
  • Charting via Cerner
  • No floating to other units or sister facilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct, consecutive pediatric cath lab experience — this is non-negotiable; incidental pediatric exposure does not qualify
  • Current BLS certification required
  • State license required if applicable
  • Pending state licenses are not accepted
  • Cerner experience preferred
  • Must be available for on-call shifts as needed

  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Local candidates will not be considered
  • Scrubs in any color are acceptable
  • Block scheduling availability may be discussed during the interview process
  • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
